phew!

I made it through to the other side.... hooray! I apologize to anyone who reads my blog that have been disappointed in my lack of posting for the past few weeks.

While trying to figure out how to get back into my blog, Matthew and I have been entertaining ourselves with new myspace and facebook accounts. Normally, we wouldn't jump on those bandwagons, but we both miss our friends back in Minnesota terribly. It's amazing, really, how many people we've been able to reconnect with. Along with friends we said goodbye to a few months ago, we've both found long lost friends from when we were little kids. Talk about weird, seeing pictures of people you haven't seen since gradeschool... all grown up with kids!

We are continuing to adjust to life in Oregon. We are enjoying it more everyday... and are pleased to announce that we are even making friends! Hooray! We met a couple this last weekend that are building a house right down the street from us. Floating down the river on innertubes, bbqs, trips to the coast... all things we are looking forward to in the near future. Ah, perhaps not the river floating just yet.

Ayecarumba... it's COLD here! Minnesota should be evacuated immediately. Take shelter in warmer climates, people!
I hear Roseburg, Oregon is nice this time of year. Let's all go there.
